iPod!!!!!!

Well, we got our doughnuts this morning! We also got to open presents! (Oh, we read the Christmas story too.) :) And last night we watched the traditional "You've Got Mail". Even though it's not really Christmas-y we always watch it on Christmas eve. So that was good.
My big present was an iPod shuffle!!! I got some "skins" for it too. I put the pink one on for now. It'll be good because I can listen to it all the way to Dallas! Don't you love it?

Last School Day

Thankfully today was our last day of school for the year! We got to go out to Subway for lunch. That was sort of our celebration.
Today is kind of our Christmas eve. Since we're going to be driving on Christmas, we will probably do our normal "Christmas Morning Rituals" tomorrow. I'm so excited that we get to have doughnuts like always!!! It will be kind of hard though. Usually Caleb and I open our presents from each other after the Christmas eve candle light service (and everyone else opens one too). Then since all the family is at our house anyway, Mom breaks out one of those snack trays with summer sausage and cheese ball and crackers and everything else on it. It was always so much fun. *sigh* I miss Redding so much. I try not to dwell on that too much though. It will still be fun I guess. Caleb and I sort of got a little burst of energy now that there are lots of presents under the tree! :)

I thought this picture of Daisy and me was cute. For some reason, she walked into the laundry room and looked at us, but wasn't jumpy or barky or anything. So I went and picked her up, and then she just kind of went limp and as soon as we sat down, she went to sleep! For those of you who don't know her, this is very unusual for the middle of the day. Anyway, I decided we should take advantage of her sleepiness and take a picture! :)
Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Daisy!!

Yesterday we got to give Daisy her Christmas present! We had to make sure that she had plenty of time to use it before we leave. I put a treat under the wrapping paper so that she would want to unwrap it, and it worked! She really wanted the treat, but after she got it, she wasn't in a hurry to unwrap the rest. It was pretty funny.

I'm gonna miss her when we have to leave. It's really very sad that we have to leave her with someone else on her very first Christmas, but I guess I'll survive. It will still be fun to see everyone in Texas though! I think we might do a few of the traditions on Christmas eve instead of Christmas, but we aren't exactly sure how it will all work out yet. Hopefully next year will be better.
Well, I guess that's all for today. Unfortunately my posting streak will have to end pretty soon since we'll be gone. Just giving you a warning. :)

Hunks

Yep!! Dad told me I needed to make a post about the hunks. Apparently that's what them old codgers used to call "Jello Jigglers". And they made them into balls and bounced them up against the wall, but they still ate them. Yuck. :)
Once again I don't have too much to say, but tomorrow I'll try to give you a longer one.

(plus it's really hard to think of things to say while the TV is going!) And this one really IS short, but I really will try to make a longer one soon.

Hurry

I'm kind of in a hurry right now. Of course, I couldn't let today get by without posting, but Mom needs some help so it will have to be short. We're having some company over tonight. The mom and dad are like around 30 I think, and they have two kids. One of them is preschool age I think, and the other one is slightly younger than that. So Mom made some of that kind of Jello that you can cut out into shapes, so we get to do that with their kids. I'm not sure what else we'll do, but little kids are cool to play with, so it's all good. Anyway, all that to say that we have to get some chores done (as well as a meal fixed) before they get here! And that's the reason that there are no pictures today. I guess that wraps it up. Sorry it's so short.

LET THE POSTING CONTINUE!!!!

Cool Game

FARMING GAME!!

How many of you reading this have played the farming game? Isn't it one of the coolest games ever? Well, we think so anyway. We got to play it yesterday and had a fun time. I actually won!! That hardly ever happens. A lot of the time Mom wins. (Or so it seems) I was Harrah Harry-- the brown guy. I had fruit, grain, corn, cows..... all that good stuff. I like getting cows. They're cool. But it's not cool when they tell you to slaughter all the cows you own. Luckily I didn't have to do that yesterday.

Today Mom and Dad went into Las Vegas to do some Christmas shopping. Consequently, Caleb and I did not oppose their doing so. Normally we would want to go with them though, seeing as how there are hardly any good stores here besides Wal-Mart. But, we had school, and they needed to go without us, so it was all fine. We are finished with school now so I just decided to make another post. Everyone else..... Keep on posting!!! That means you Zachary!!

I was going to take an up-to-date picture to put on today's post, but I can't seem to find the camera. Oh well. I guess you'll just have to do with this non picture kind.
Who can guess what today is? I guess it's a lot of things, but the thing I was going for, is that it's Granddad's birthday! Happy birthday Granddad (if you're even reading this)!! But today is also one week until Christmas. Pretty exciting. We got Daisy a present, but I haven't given it to her yet. I'd like to, but Caleb says we should wait. :) When we do, I'll probably take a picture and put it on here!
Well, I don't have much to say today so,...... Merry Christmas!!!

No, it's not snowing

Actually, it's not even raining! And that picture didn't even happen in the past week or anything. It's just that we went geocacheing and didn't really take any pictures, so I had to find one that I liked. The reason I picked this one is because it was so stinkin' cold up there!!! So it felt like we *should* have been making snow men, even though there was no snow. (This picture was taken in Ouray, in case anyone was wondering.)
The cacheing was fun even though it was cold. When we stopped to eat, Caleb took his watch off and set it outside so we could find out the temperature and it said that it was only 38 degrees. We're pretty sure that if you take into consideration the wind and everything it felt more like 20. To give you an idea how cold it actually was, I'll just tell you that even Dad said it was cold. Then you know it was bad!!!
Well, this makes 6 days in a row now I think!

Not much

Well, not too much has been going on here, but I couldn't go with no picture, so I put up this one of our Preschool performance. What do you think? There are some pretty cute kids there.

Last night Mom directed the musical that she was working on with the school kids. To say the least, there were quite a few kids on the stage. :) I think it might be slightly more accurate to say that you couldn't see any floor. It was crazy! But they (and especially Mom) did a really great job. It really makes me miss being in the kids choir at Cloverdale. It was enjoyable though.
Today we went to a casino and ate lunch with all the school staff. There were probably about 30 people there! And, Caleb and I are also considered staff, so that was kind of cool.
I guess I was wrong, there is stuff going on here. Once I get going I just don't know when to stop! Okay, I guess that's enough for now. :)

Howd ya, what's yr seeeecret?

I just thought everyone should have an opportunity to see my coolest teacher. I mean, can those glasses get any better? And the hair to!! Man. I just hope one day I will look as awesome as her. :) I know the picture is kind of funny, but it's hard to take pictures of the TV. You probably all already know, but just in case you didn't, Caleb and I watch all of our classes by DVD. ( It's still the A Beka though) And this is my biology teacher: Miss Stancel. To say the least, she's pretty weird. But hey, I had to put a picture of something on today's post! :)
Even if it doesn't make me look as stinkin' awesome as Miss Stancel, I was thinking about cutting my hair just to my shoulders again. So if anyone has anything *nice* (or valuable) to say about that, you can let me know. :) Thanks!

I'm on a roll!

I figured since I've already posted 2 days in a row, I might as well make it three! I actually don't have that much to say though.
Last night and the night before I had the preschool Christmas concert that I was playing piano for. They both went very well. Tonight will be our last performance! I hope it goes well too. All the teachers are very nice. I've really enjoyed working there.
We bought that little hat for Daisy from Ross. She always goes crazy when we put it on her, but then once Caleb put his on, she was more interested in it than hers. So we got a few good pictures there! Well, thank you for all the comments I've been getting lately, it's good stuff!! :)

A Good Time

Kayla and I had a really fun time spending our birthdays together. This picture is us in the Galleria mall. For those of you who new I was looking (Katie) I found a brown v-neck shirt!! I found a really cute swe atshirt with snoopy on it too. Also, please notice the cute purse. :) I love it.

OOOOOOOH Johnny!! Did you like my new song? Caleb and I heard it on one of those music channels one time and *LOVED* it. And........-can you believe it- it was on the new Chronicles of Narnia movie!!! Apparently Kayla has been waiting for that for 5 years. It was really really good. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We actually found a theatre in Las Vegas that wasn't a casino! (I think Kayla was a little disappointed) We even got to see it on opening day, the first showing, and it was hardly even crowded! I would highly recommend it to anyone who was
considering seeing it. :)

This is the awesome gingerbread house that we got to make. It was an early Christmas present. There is actually a little orange orchard that we made in the back yard. It turned out quite nice. THANKS FOR COMING KAYLA!

Finaly, Real Christmas Cheer

Well, Kayla left today, so I guess I'll post the Christmas tree decorating day pictures first, and then I can do the ones of us. Anyway, we're thoroughly enjoying the Christmas tree and lights that we put up. :) Enjoy the pictures!

Christmas Cheer

Well, this post was supposed to be about Christmas cheer, but now I can't seem to make my pictures load. So, I guess you will all just have to wait for the real post. (Because you obviously can't have Christmas cheer without pictures) But, good news. My birthday is tomorrow! I can't wait. Kayla is getting here!!!! WOO HOOOOOO! Plus, Mom said that we would get to go out for breakfast. (I really love going out for breakfast but I don't know why.) And then, we will probably get to eat out at Quinceys for lunch so that will be great. Birthdays are great aren't they? Not to mention.........

I GET TO SEE KAYLA!!!!!!!!!! :)

Daisy... Again

I know, I know, I always make posts about Daisy. But, I mean, what else do I do? True, we are going to decorate the tree today, but I was already planning on taking the pictures, and then posting about it tomorrow. (don't hold me accountable if I forget to do it then)
So anyway, Daisy is doing pretty good now. She is already jumpy again, so we have to try to settle her down. Sometimes she seems like she's in pain though, so we give her one of the pills that the vet gave us for her to relieve the pain. But then of course she falls asleep in like 30 minutes and she looks drugged. But I guess it makes her feel better which is good. And I forgot to tell anyone who was wondering that her ears are doing fine. The vet hasn't even said anything about them lately. So, I think she's looking like a very cute, healthy puppy. :)
