Fun times!

Well, we had a blast with Zachary and Brenda this past week. Sadly they had to leave this morning, and it's always sad to see family leave, but we're so thankful that they got to be here and that we had so much fun! Not to mention that we got to see Grandmom and Granddad and Uncle Randy and Aunt Kathy (along with Zachary and Brenda) all in the same week! Like I said, we had a lot of fun. :) We got to go to the Mt. Charleston cabins again, hear the Walker quintet, go to the famous Chinese eating place, play games such as catch phrase, enjoy a whole day of shopping (one of my personal favorites), and do much, much more! Speaking of the shopping, the pink v-neck shirt I'm wearing in the picture is one I got on the shopping day. It's from Old Navy. Well, there is likely lots more to say, but unfortunately, I think it's time to get back to a little bit of school work. On the bright side, our only spanish homework today was memorizing a spanish verse! Anyway, maybe I'll have more to say later.

Oh yeah, enjoy the exciting new blog look! (Complements of Zachary and Brenda!)

Here's the picture

Just make sure you read the other post! That's the one I actually wrote in.

Chuck is here!

Well, right now we're taking a little break from school, so I thought I'd post. And when I say we're taking a break, that actually means that we're waiting to check our Spanish homework and then we'll move on to the next lesson.
So, yeah, Chuck is here! He's been here since Wednesday I think, and he has to leave tomorrow. But we're really glad he got to come! I'm pretty sure we're planning to eat out at a Mexican food place today, so that should be fun. I wanted to take a picture of us with him doing something, but then I realized that we probably would never get around to taking the picture and then I would never get around to posting, so I figured it would be best to just go ahead and post. We did get to take him to our night time geocache, which was pretty sweet. (For those of you who don't know, that means you follow the reflective tacks until you get to the cache.)
Well, I should probably go and help Mom make us some lunch. Until next time! (And hopefully next time I'll have pictures!)

Jackets, skirts and other things

Well, this first picture is of the adorable little doggie jacket I bought for Daisy. Unfortunately, it was too small. First I got the small, and wasn't really thinking about size. Then I got the medium thinking it would work, and when I tried to put it on her, I couldn't fit her other leg through the hole, because it wouldn't fit around her back! The really sad part was that they had no larges. So, alas, Daisy won't have a cute little doggie jacket to wear when it gets cold. Not that she would have actually worn it, but it still would've been a lot of fun until she chewed it up!
Second comes my new skirt. I made it! It was for my sewing class, and I thought it turned out quite well. Even the zipper
worked! I didn't do it exactly right, because I was supposed to
put in a button, and that didn't work out, but I still like how it turned out. You can't really see the material in the picture, but
it feels like suede and it has kind of little zig-zag patterns with the threads going through it. Kind of hard to explain. Anyway, all is well in sewing class and I am about to be starting my "blouse". (It's in quotes just because I always think it's funny to call it a "blouse" instead of a "shirt".)
We had a blast in Phoenix! It was so fun to see all the family there. We even got to play Balderdash on Friday night! Not to mention the tasty Fuddruckers we got to have. :) Bella is really cute and looks like she'll be crawling around any day now. Charley is pretty cute too, but I must say, I'm partial to my little Daisy Lou. Tee hee! Thanks for all the fun Grandmom and Granddad!
