What's up nuggets for Uncle Randy

School is going okay. I have to give an oral book review on Tuesday that I'm not looking forward to, but I am looking forward to the monologue I have to give for speech class. I'm not sure when that's due, but it should be fun.
It is good that the nights are cooling, but we haven't been doing a lot more because of it to tell the truth. Dad opens the doors often now that it's cooler! So we wear jeans and sweatshirts during school. :)
We are very excited for family to come. I mean hey, who wouldn't be? We probably won't do school while they're here! :) It really will be a lot of fun though. Six days from today they'll be here, but Caleb and I won't be. We're going to visit the Master's college in LA and won't get back until Sunday. The trip also includes Disneyland on Saturday!! It was going to be the whole youth group, but there's actually only one other girl going besides Caleb and me. It'll be fun though.
The new house is great, although it doesn't feel that new anymore, it still feels very nice and we enjoy it very much! Unfortunately Daisy seems to like to try to escape from her new yard. While our VM friends were here was the first time she did it. We got home after being gone all day, and she was outside the fence, but still close to the house. Then the next morning she actually got away and we spent most of the morning before church looking for her, but thankfully I found her. She was pretty far away from home, but happy to come get in the car with me. We thought we fixed the problem since we covered up the place where it looked like she got out, but then she was out again when we got back from town yesterday, and one of the gates was wide open. I was very relieved, however, that she once again stayed close to the house. We aren't sure, but we think that some kids that live around here may have come and opened the gate, so we'll probably get some kind of lock for it here pretty soon.
Here is a photo for you of Mom, Caleb, Daisy and me on a hike we took on Columbus day.

Hey, I guess my post got kind of long. Thanks for the questions Uncle Randy! Caleb and I actually caught some sickness yesterday. Mom and Dad had it a while back and we thought we managed to avoid it, but now we're both feeling bad today. It does give me time to update my blog though! Oh well, hopefully it will go away soon. I guess that mostly covers all the what's up nuggets!

Hey girlie! Thanks for the update!
I can't believe how soon I'll be there. It's gonna be SO great to see you again!!!!!
I was hoping that Daisy problem was taken care of after the last time. Anyway, I'm glad you found her...hopefully she won't escape again.
See you soon!!
Love you!!

It's not cool being sick. I'm not looking forward to the monologue in speech class. I'm not a big fan of less than savory accents. And I'm not talking about colors either. Anyway, Happy Columbus Day. Or fifteenth of October.

DISNEYLAND!!! How exciting. Make sure and eat a mickey mouse ice cream sandwich for me :)

Good update. Sorry about the Daisy thing. Maybe you should start throwing rocks at the kids who come by your house.

You know I love those hikes. I am jealous about your going to Disneyland. Have fun and try and take a picture with a character this time. Bonus points if you get Caleb in the picture too.

Those were some delicious nuggets. Thanks for sharing them. And the sauce about being sick...not my favorite flavor. Probably not yours, either.

Kyle, Lyndsay and Bella were in Disneyland recently, with Kathie and Alison there soon after. I imagine Lyndsay will post some photos of Bella with characters soon, and I do not mean her Pops.

That hike looks refreshing. Either that, or your mom is just weird for carrying a jacket. We don't realy use those much here.

More nuggets will be requested soon if you don't talk again for a while.
