One More Day!

We are leaving for the coast tomorrow!! I'm so excited. It's gonna be so much fun! I'll try to be prompt in my posting of pictures when we get back, which won't be until June 10th. I just can't wait to be on the beach! I'll admit, I'm going to miss Daisy a lot, but I'm sure she'll have fun. I just hope she'll want to come back to me when we get here. This picture is of her using her "Amazing Daising Ears" to fly up to her stump. Pretty cool huh? I like it. :)

I know it's been so long since I posted! I keep trying to wait until I have some cool new picture to post, but nothin's happenin' so far. (Picture-wise that is.)
Here's my big news: It's only 10 more days till we leave for the coast!!!! We made a countdown calendar a while back. I'm so excited! Not about the countdown calendar, but about the trip. We're gonna drive over there on the thirty-first and then stay in a cool motel which is right by the beach, and the next day we will see the Grandparents! I'm not exactly sure of the plans for things we'll do with them, but I do know that we will be going to the Monterey Bay Aquarium! That should be really fun. And then on Monday we will go to Santa Cruz for our VM conference at Mission Springs! Caleb and I really look forward to that because we get to see our friends there. Plus we almost always get to go to the Board Walk over there with our group on the Thursday we're there. And then we leave on Friday, which is Caleb's birthday! So we'll be celebrating that day, but I won't tell how, you'll have to tell Caleb to post about that. :)
So anyway, that's pretty much all that's going on. I mean Daisy is still wonderful, but I don't have a new picture for you, I don't think!

My Daisy and Me

I recently found this fabric at Wal-Mart that I really liked. So I found a fitting pattern, bought the fabric, and made a skirt! Then, we got to go shopping last Saturday, and I found a great white shirt that went with it. (I also got some other great deals, including another skirt, a shirt and a jacket.... all at Kohls!) So here is a picture of the skirt that I made, with the white shirt I got.
Yeah, so the picture isn't great. No one else was around to take it for me, so I was putting it on timer and then trying to stand so that it was centered, and I couldn't seem to take a good on. But hey, I'm no photographer!
A while back we bought one of those little cheap pools, because I thought it would be really fun to let Daisy play in it with us! She had a fun time, and I think we've used it like three times now. It's pretty fun stuff!
And then here she is all warm and dry. Isn't she sweet?? :)

Well, we're back from Disneyland, and I know I've been a slacker and haven't posted, but I'm finally getting around to it! However, everything has mostly been told by other members of WEBNET so I'll keep it short. (Once again, because of my laziness.) Here we are, I think on Tom Sawyer Island.

Dad and I had a fun time on this ride, and hardly had to wait in line at all! And aren't you glad we got those little girls in the picture? They screamed really loudly, but then again, so did I! :)

Isn't this the coolest pretzel you've ever seen?? It was fabulous!
And, here we have my favorite ride: California Screamin'! I loved everything, but I think this was probably my favorite. Mom and I rode it several times, because it kind of made the others sick! But I LOVED it!!!!!

Isn't it just like me? Everything is all about the food....... okay, so maybe that's not true of Disneyland, but I thought their little snack vendors were awesome. I think the reason I'm not smiling very much is because I had chocolate on my teeth, and I didn't want it to show! :) I got a really soft sandwich, and loved it, so then Caleb went and got one, and his was hard as a rock. Pretty crazy huh? It was so great though!!!

I really loved the Indiana Jones Ride too. I had such a fabulous time! Thanks again for taking us along Gmom and Gdad! I can't say enough how much fun we had!!!!
