Texas

Well, the four of us caught kind of a last minute flight from Las Vegas to Dallas so that we could be there for our Aunt Mae's funeral. That part was a bummer, but we made up for it yesterday by doing some fun things.


We got to walk to the park with our "second cousins" Maddie and Andie. (They are the kids of our cousin Jenifer) There's a creek just down the way from the park, so we went down there too.






Dad found a crawdad (how do you spell that?) so we played with it for a while. And when I say, "we" I mean that they played while I watched from a safe distance. :)














Here is Uncle Gary with his grandson, Andie, on the slide that Caleb and I used to think was really huge. Andie was trying to bat a little soft nerf ball that Dad threw, and he hit it!! Oh wait, when I say, "hit" I mean, missed. tee hee.

And don't forget that when we came back we got to see Daisy!! I had to take this picture really quick for this post, so it's not that great but it'll do to show you how great she is. I love her!!!

Doesn't the window look tons better??!? I put up the bamboo blinds Katie got me
a while back, and I love the palm tree curtains. (We really needed them, since you can see through the blinds if they aren't there!) The blinds also let in quite a bit of light, which is a good thing. :)

Bummer

Pretty much all day yesterday my throat kind of hurt. This morning when I woke up I felt awful. I've had a fever all day and my nose is all messed up. I was doing so bad, that I couldn't really get any school done. I pretty much just slept all day. I'm hoping that I'll feel better by tomorrow.
On a happier note, we had a really good time in Redding. We were so happy to finally see Zachary and Brenda's cute house! Zachary even took us golfing. (We didn't play all the holes though, because it was sort of sprinkling and we were freezing.) I was really happy to see every one. Kayla and I got to go shopping on Saturday!!! We went to the ceramic place too. I painted a bowl, and she did a plate, but she's going to have to bring it to me some time (hint hint) since it doesn't get done for a few days.
Well, I should probably go sleep some more. :) It's kind of funny because I don't seem to be getting less tired. I just keep sleeping, and sleeping, and sleeping! Anyway, I guess that's all for now.

So Sorry

Well, Dad took the digital camera with him to Haiti, so I can't take pictures of my room until he gets back! We did take some video of it, and we even took some pictures with the cell phone, but I don't know how to put those on here. So, once again, I am sorry. I guess you'll just have to wait. It looks really good though! The colors are pink (actual name- "flame creeper") orange ("mondragon") and tan ("toasted coconut"). I'm very pleased with how it worked. Now we just have to get every thing back in place. :) But for now, I can't wait to see you people in Redding!!! Jamba Juice.... here we come!!!!!

No Pictures

Sorry! I like to have pictures, but this isn't really a "picture-kind-of-post". (Get it? It's kind of like "you-have-a-friend-in-the-valley"!) Anyway, this post was mostly to say that we took Dad to the air port this morning. He will be flying into Dallas, then to somewhere in Florida, then I think they said something about stopping for gas in the Bahamas?, and then they will arrive in Haiti. I think that's the schedule. Correct me if I'm wrong. (That only applies to people who do know though.) :) He'll be teaching some Haitian (is that how you spell it?) pastors and just doing that kind of missions work..... I think. So while he's there, we will be painting my room! That I will have pictures of. But not yet. We plan to buy the paint today and paint on Monday and Tuesday. I'm excited!! But not quite as excited as I am to see everybody when we go to Redding! We are leaving on Thursday for Redding and coming back on Sunday. It doesn't feel like long enough to get everything done, but it will still be fun. Well, I guess that's it for now.
